A Vision for Inspiration, Proximity, and Connection

Founded in 2011 by a group of passionate piano enthusiasts and the distinguished pianist and musicologist Beate Perrey, PIANO PASSION PARIS™ was born from the desire to bring piano music closer to the audience. Its mission is to showcase performances by both professional and accomplished non-professional pianists in intimate settings such as private homes and small-scale venues.

The initiative seeks to achieve two fundamental goals: first, to offer a uniquely immersive musical experience on a human scale, and second, to identify, support, and cultivate the exceptional soloists of today and tomorrow.

At the heart of every PIANO PASSION PARIS™ event is a carefully curated program with either a small ensemble of 5-7 extraordinary pianists, spanning all ages, performing for an intimate audience, or a single pianiste or group of musicians performing one whole evening, usually for about an hour. Artist introduces the pieces they play, offering insight into the music before meeting their audience over a drink or cocktail-dînatoire following their performance.

Beyond performances, PIANO PASSION PARIS™ organizes workshops led by world-class artisans, professors, and artists. These sessions delve into a range of disciplines, from performance and piano technique to interpretation, recording practices, body awareness, and more.

The concerts and workshops foster an open exchange of creative ideas, allowing musicians and audiences to connect in beautiful, personal settings. These encounters go beyond the traditional concert experience, creating opportunities for dialogue, inspiration, and the formation of meaningful connections.
